Measure your breath

Walk the path

Consider your surroundings

Be kind to your thoughts

Expand your belly

Express your gratitude

Live in loving kindness

 

Count your steps

Measure your breath

Walk the path

But the path is long

And my surroundings are distracting

My thoughts are rough

My belly is resistant

My gratitude is tenuous

My love is selfish

 

But the path is long for a reason

And I can try again

Tomorrow
